Project Scope

This is NPI Program to provide complete design of packaging for Combined Heat & Power Gensets, 20 Cylinder, 16 Cylinder & 12-cylinder Engines rated for

2.5MW, 1.5MW & 1 MW.


Business Challenges


  • Design of base frame & Enclosure to take the loads of all the sub systems

  • Communize of different systems for all three Genset variants

  • Enclosure should be designed to withstand 120mph wind load

  • Need to be design safety systems compliance with American standards

  • Create schematics for all sub systems, and layout to route the wiring

    harness

  • Calculated all the loads of the systems and designed base frame

  • Designed the structures of frame & Enclosure sheet to withstand 120mph

    wind load

  • Designed Gas detection systems, E-STOP and Fire safety systems with

    compliance of American standards

  • Created schematic as per new design with route the harness and cables
