Project Scope


  • To measure the linear displacement of LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) sensor in microns

  • To drive the relay section of the PLC machine in accordance with threshold limits set using GUI

The customer had a challenge in meeting high precision grinding/cutting & smoothening operations. Also, to ease the user settings with HMI.


ARi’s Solutions


  • Developed desired precision of 4200 microns corresponding to 42 millimeters of LVDT sensor stroke length

  • Device is integrated with the PLC system relays via isolation channels

  • Fully automated and robust system
