Hackathon 2025 Participation Guide

  1. Team Formation
    1. 3–4 members only, with at least 2 engineers
    2. Cross-functional collaboration is strongly encouraged
  2. Eligibility
    1. Open to all employees in Product Design, Manufacturing, Embedded Systems, Digital Transformation, Testing & Validation, and support roles
  3. Idea Requirements
    1. Must be original and address a customer/engineering challenge
    2. Working prototype or simulation with dashboards/visualizations is mandatory
    3. Solutions should show clear customer/business value
  4. Rules
    1. No AI-generated code or documentation (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot)
    2. No solo entries or teams larger than 4
    3. No re-submission of old or third-party solutions
    4. Participation should not disrupt project deliverables—manager approval required
  5. Judging Criteria
    1. Relevance & Impact (customer/business benefit)
    2. Innovation & Creativity
    3. Feasibility & Technical Quality (demo-ready prototype)
    4. Cross-functional teamwork
    5. Presentation clarity and effective dashboards/visuals
  6. Awards
    1. Attractive cash prizes, trophies, and certificates for winners
    2. Special awards for Innovation, Customer Choice, Best Demo, Jury Recognition
