A large Marine OEM reached out to ARi to develop a low cost and fuel saving solution of a variable speed transmission for a marine genset. As a result of confidence built from previous projects, the Marine OEM reached out ARi to develop this genset application in a timely manner.
Business Challenges
The existing genset used an expensive power electronic box and 4 pole generators for maintaining the constant Hz and fuel savings.

With the team of experienced engineers, ARi was well equipped to handle the design, development, and testing of the genset. The team focused on developing a low-cost solution that did not compromise performance. The new design replaced the expensive power electronic box and 4 pole generator with a variable speed generator and constant speed generator.
